
ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – thirteenth Mar, 2022 ) :The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has stated that 29,338 candidates will contest the second section of native authorities elections in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, to be held on March 31 in 65 tehsils of 18 districts.
According to ECP, as many as 651 candidates will contest tehsil chairman seats, 13,331 candidates for the final village and neighborhood seats, 3,201 on ladies seats, 6,602 for labour and kisan seats, 5,446 candidates for youth seats, and 107 candidates for minorities seats.
The consolidation of outcomes will probably be on April 4, 2022, on completion of the polling course of in all areas after 5 days of polling day.
March 1 was the final date for deciding on appeals by the Appellate Tribunal. The final date for withdrawal of candidature and publication of the revised listing of candidates was March 3.
