Al-Jubeir Says Didnt Hear Biden Saying Crown Prince Responsible For Khashoggi Murder

MOSCOW (UrduPoint News / Sputnik – seventeenth July, 2022) US President Joe Biden didn’t inform Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud that he believed the Crown Prince was liable for the homicide of journalist Jamal Khashoggi, Saudi Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Adel Al-Jubeir instructed Fox information.

“I didn’t hear that particular phrase,” Adel al-Jubeir instructed Fox News’ Alex Hogan after Biden departed Saudi Arabia.

The particulars of al-Jubeir’s interview with Hogan have been first revealed by White House correspondent Jacqui Heinrich through social media late on Saturday evening.

“The President mentioned that the US is committed to human rights because since the founding fathers wrote the constitution and he also made the point that American presidents – this is part of the agenda of every American president,” Adel al-Jubeir instructed Fox News.

On Friday, Biden instructed reporters that he raised the problem of Khashoggi on the assembly with the Saudi Crown Prince in Jeddah that day, claiming that Mohammed bin Salman was liable for the homicide.

“With respect to the murder of Khashoggi, I raised it at the top of the meeting, making it clear what I thought of it at the time and what I think about it now,” Biden stated, including “He basically said that he was not personally responsible for it.

I indicated that he was, and he said he was not personally responsible for it and he took action against those who were responsible.”

Biden instructed reporters that he didn’t remorse calling Saudi Arabia a “pariah state” for its alleged position within the killing of columnist Khashoggi.

During his 2020 presidential marketing campaign, Biden labeled Saudi Arabia a “pariah state” over what he stated was the Crown Prince’s purported position within the homicide of Khashoggi.
