Christian Bale shared his trustworthy ideas on becoming a member of the Marvel Cinematic Universe as Gorr the God Butcher in Thor: Love and Thunder.
Christian Bale is getting into the MCU as a former Batman actor and Academy Award winner. In Thor: Love and Thunder, he’ll check the God of Thunder as Gorr the God Butcher, who director Taika Waitti is claiming to be Marvel’s greatest villain to this point. While talking with Total Film, Bale first shared a few of the shocking inspirations behind his villain within the Thor movie:
“Mostly hearing Taika’s [Waititi, director] thoughts on it. There’s obviously sort of a Nosferatu slight attitude. Taika and I wanted to do a whole dance, which we didn’t get to do, but we had all this sort of Kate Bush stuff that we worked at. But I think he just realised he was never going to be allowed to put that in the final film. I would say that the most common thing I was staring at was the Aphex Twin video of ‘Come To Daddy’. But I don’t even know if that will be in the final film.”
Gorr’s G-String
One criticism that has already hit the web is with regard to Christian Bale’s look as Gorr in Thor: Love and Thunder, which isn’t an identical to his look within the comics. Bale confessed within the interview he’s glad his model within the Thor movie isn’t comedian e book correct:
