ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – eighth Aug, 2022 ) :At least 176 folks together with 77 males, 44 girls and 55 youngsters misplaced their lives amid the heavy rains and floods in Balochistan.
The Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) reported that the heavy rains prompted lack of 23,013 livestock and broken 198,461 acres of crops in Balochistan.
According to information shared by the PDMA, 75 folks, together with 48 males, 11 girls, and 16 youngsters have been injured resulting from floods, whereas over 1500 folks have been displaced.
The report knowledgeable that the deaths in rain-related incidents have been reported from Chaman, Kachi, Barkhan, Dera Bugti, Zhob, Duki, Pishin, Panjgur, Kohlu, Harnai, Killa Saifullah, Sibi, Lasbela, Loralai, Jaffarabad, Kalat, Kach, Khuzdar and different districts.
The PDMA reported {that a} complete of 18,087 properties have been broken or demolished because of the floods within the province. Six totally different highways with 670 km size and 16 bridges have been broken because of the floods, it added.
Moreover, tube wells, photo voltaic panels and different types of communications are severely broken because of the rains.
