The character id of Matt Smith in Jared Leto’s Morbius has been revealed.
Ever since he was first forged alongside Jared Leto in Sony Pictures Entertainment’s upcoming Marvel Comics movie Morbius, some have speculated that Matt Smith could be taking part in Loxias Crown AKA Hunger as seen from the comics. As it seems that’s not the case.
According to some manufacturing notes on Morbius, Matt Smith‘s character is known as Milo. The notes describe Milo as “thescion of a very, very, very rich family grown into a man determined to live deep and suck out all the marrow of life while he can – mostly by spending his money to live the high life in New York.”
In the movie, it seems that each Jared Leto‘s Morbius and Matt Smith’s Milo wrestle with the identical affliction, with Morbius “afraid of his powers” whereas Milo is one which “embraces them.” Based on the notes, it seems that Matt Smith’s Milo is a mixture of Loxias Crown and Emil Nikos, the latter of whom was a childhood pal and sufferer upon Morbius’ transformation.
