The 94th Academy Awards are coming to a detailed, and whereas Will Smith positively stole the present — for all the improper causes — the present was really going swimmingly beforehand.
The Dolby Theater was chock-full of stars who have been dressed to the nines Sunday evening — and as Oscar statuettes began to get dolled out … the hugs and selfies began to roll in as properly.
One instance of such love was between Best Supporting Actress winner Ariana DeBose and her fellow nominee, Jessie Buckley … the latter of whom appeared to be giving the ‘West Side Story’ star her props for strolling away with the W, which everybody thinks is well-deserved.
Ditto for when Troy Kotsur received for Best Supporting Actor for his work on ‘CODA’ … his desk was elated for him — as was the remainder of the viewers as he delivered a rousing speech in ASL.
Some different highlights that have been taking place behind the scenes … Venus and Serena Williams have been posing with one another, and nearly everybody else who needed a pic. It was a giant evening for them — particularly seeing how Will Smith was up for the high prize, which he ended up profitable.
Of course, issues took a darkish flip when Will smacked Chris Rock throughout the face after he made a crack about Jada Pinkett‘s shaved head … which led to a clumsy second therafter.

Still, it was a fairly feel-good vibe earlier than all that … as evidenced in all the hobnobbing that was happening down in the seats and backstage.
One factor we won’t say … this one wasn’t memorable. Because it completely was — have a look for your self.
