RAWALPINDI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 2nd Jul, 2022 ) :The police on Saturday seized large caches of liquor, narcotics and medicines value thousands and thousands of rupees in separate operations throughout the district.
The Kellar Syedan Police arrested accused Kabir Ahmed and recovered 100 bottles of liquor from him.
The SHO Kellar Syedan mentioned that different facilitators of the accused would even be arrested.
SP Saddar Ahmed Zanir Cheema, whereas praising SHO Kellar Syedan and his workforce, mentioned that the accused could be challaned with strong evidences of drug trafficking in opposition to him. The crackdown on drug sellers and liquor suppliers would proceed, he added.
In one other operation in opposition to the drug sellers, Rawalpindi Police arrested two accused and recovered about 3 kg cannabis from their possession.
Similarly, Waris Khan Police arrested an accused particularly Bilal and recovered 800 grams of hashish from him, whereas Banni Police arrested accused Ali and recovered 620 grams of hashish from him.
The Rawalpindi Police, in different operations arrested 9 accused and recovered marijuana and liquor from them, together with 460 grams of hashish from Sehroosh, 180 grams of hashish from Issa, 4 liters of liquor from Zukram, 16 liters of liquor from Noman, 13 bottles of liquor from Haroon, 5 bottles of liquor from Bilal, and 10 liters of liquor from Afzal.
Separate circumstances have been registered in opposition to the accused with varied police stations of the district.
Meanwhile, a case was registered in opposition to an accused Zohaib with Saddar Berouni Police Station for allegedly abusing a 12-year-old boy. The motion was taken on the appliance of the sufferer’s father who alleged that the tutor of his youngster molested him.
